1 LB PACKAGE Flower and Garden PlusĀ Most planting sites lack the beneficial fungi and bacteria that new plants,Ā flowers and trees need due to tillage, home construction, site preparationĀ and the removal of top soils. These activities reduce the mycorrhizalĀ forming potential of soil. Soil Moist Flower & Garden Plus is formulatedĀ from several species of beneficial fungi and bacteria to inoculate plants,Ā flowers and trees during planting time. Soil Moist Flower & Garden PlusĀ has a diverse blend of healthy viable endomycorrhizal propagules that areĀ adapted to a wide range of plants and habitat conditions. The formulationĀ will provide the inoculated area to colonize on the newly planted stock inĀ a variety of growing and temperature conditions.Ā The mycorrhizal fungi colonize plant roots and extend far into the soil.Ā The fungi improves the ability of the plants to utilize the soil resources.Ā The fungi increase water and nutrient uptake by providing a larger rootĀ mass. Soil Moist water storing polymers are included in the formulation toĀ reduce transplant stress and water maintenance while increasing theĀ establishment of newly planted stock. An 8-9 month timed released 3-3-3Ā fertilizer is included in Soil Moist Flower & Garden Plus to promote rootĀ growth, formulation and enhance microbial and plant growth

High performance mycorrhizal products by JRM
Chemical contain a diverse selection of endomycorrhizalĀ and ectomycorrhizal fungi with highly activeĀ spore and propagule counts. The arbuscular (AM)Ā endomycorhizal fungi include several kinds of propagules, entities that can produce mycorrhizal colonization.Ā Spores are only a portion of the arbuscular mix.Ā Mycelium and mycorrhizal root fragments attachedĀ to carrier granules are more immediately active andĀ are the only propagules listed in our mix.Ā The ectomycorrhizal fungi in Soil Moist mycorrhizalĀ products are adapted to a wide range of host plantsĀ and habitat conditions. They are collected andĀ adapted to a variety of temperature and moistureĀ regions.Ā are included in the mycorrhizalĀ blend.Ā Only healthy viable propagulesĀ All Soil Moist mycorrhizal productsĀ contain a very effective biostimulantĀ formulation with high colony formingĀ units (CFU) of beneficial bacteria.Ā The formulation contains overĀ fifty (50) strains of beneficial soilĀ microbes and natural plant extractsĀ that promote root growth and formulation.Ā Five strains ofĀ Trichoderma, a soil fungi, is addedĀ to enhance disease suppression andĀ produce natural growth hormones.Ā Some strains of the soil microbesĀ consume the food source for pathogenicĀ fungi as pythium, phytopthora,Ā rhizactonia and fusarium. Other strainsĀ of the microbes have the ability to produceĀ antibiotics that inhibit protein synthesesĀ in pathogenic fungi.Ā Fifteen strains of Bacillus bacteriaĀ are added to solubilize minerals,Ā decompose organic materialĀ and pesticide residues. BacillusĀ bacteria produce natural growth hormones and Ā enzymes and aid in nitrogen fixation. Five strains of Psuedomonas bacteria (for nitrogen fixation, disease suppression and production of natural growth hormones) and ten strains of Streptomycetes Ā bacteria (decomposes organic matter and for disease suppression) are included in the biostimulant. Other components include folic acid and biotin (enhances microbial and plant growth), amino acidsĀ (improves nutrient absorption), vitamins (B, B1, B2,Ā B3, B12, C and K) and natural sugars. Natural sugarsĀ provide carbon for photosynthesis and act as an energyĀ source for plants and microbes.Ā Humic acids derived from leonardite are in the formulation.Ā Kelp which is in the formulation is derivedĀ from Ecklonia maxima using cellburst technology.Ā This technology produces more active auxins andĀ cytokinins which are plant growth components. TheĀ Ecto Tabs and Plant Tabs contain a different biostimulantĀ formulation. Refer to Form 750 and 751.

Mycorrhiza is the relationship between the plant rootĀ and beneficial fungi. The roots of most plants are colonizedĀ by the fungus. This colonization extends farĀ into the soil and are extensions of the root system.Ā Mycorrhizal fungi is found in undisturbed soils withĀ other beneficial soil organisms. Todayās common practicesĀ such as tillage, site preparation, road and homeĀ construction, mining and removal of topsoil canĀ degrade the mycorrhizal forming potential of soil.Ā These activities can reduce and eliminate these beneficial soil fungi. The reintroduction of mycorrhizalĀ fungi in areas where they have been disturbed and depletedĀ can dramatically improve plant establishment.Ā The fungi improvesĀ the ability of plantsĀ to utilize the soil resources by ten toĀ several hundreds of times. MycorrhizalĀ filaments canĀ extend for severalĀ miles in a thimble of soil. Mycorrhizal fungiĀ improve water and nutrient uptake byĀ providing a larger root mass. The fungi release chemicals into the soil which dissolves essential minerals not normally availableĀ to the plant such as iron, phosphorous and other bound nutrients. This extraction of minerals is importantĀ in plant nutrition and helps explain why nonmycorrhizal plants require high levels of fertility. The fungi create a web mass that captures and assimilates nutrients.Ā There are over six types of mycorrhiza which differ byĀ type of fungus, type of host plant and the morphology of the interface. These fungi have certain characteristics; Ā they go into the layer of cells that are only found on young roots and pass into the soil forming a bridgeĀ to the plant. The two types of mycorrhizal fungi in Soil M oist mycorrhizal products are limited to ectomycorrhizalĀ and endomycorrhizal with several diverse species of each. Endomycorrhizal fungal filiments (hyphae) enter the root cells. They form arbusculesĀ (branched structures) inside the root cells.Ā Ectomycorrhizal fungi do not go into the root cells Ā but on the surface of the small roots. They enter at theĀ roots where the fungal filaments (hyphae) pass between root cells.Ā Mycorrhizal fungi help reduce plant stress and disease.Ā The larger root mass and web of fungal filaments help increase water absorption. Mycorrhizal fungiĀ attack pathogen Ā or disease organismsĀ entering the root zone of the fungal filaments. SpecificĀ antibiotics produced by the fungi kill andĀ immobilize diseaseĀ organisms. Some fungi protect pineĀ trees from P h t o p h t h o r a , Fusarium and rhizoctoniaĀ disease. Soil structure isĀ improved with the introduction of mycorrhizal fungi. The filaments Ā humic compounds and organic glues (extracellular polysaccharides) that bind soil into aggregates for increased soil porosity.Ā Soil structure and porosity increase plant growth and establishment by promoting root growth and distribution, aeration and water penetration into the root zone.Ā The most important benefit inoculating soil with mycorrhizalĀ fungi is to the soil and plant ecosystem; improved soil structure, soil microbiology, soil porosity, protection against plant diseases and plant loss. of the best known effects of mycorrhizal fungi is that plants absorb more phosphorus and grow fasterĀ than non-mycorrhizal control plants.
